Autumn at Bledsoe Creek

I regularly go on “Adventure Days” with my son in areas surrounding Nashville. A great one is: hike the High Ridge Trail at Bledsoe Creek State Park, have lunch at Swaney Swift’s on the Square (in Gallatin), visit Towne Square Records & Comics, then get ice cream at The Ice Cream Social.

Amish Country: Ethridge, Tennessee

For a great outing, go to Davy Crockett State Park, hike the Shoal Creek Trail, then grab lunch at the Park’s restaurant. You can then make your way to the Amish Welcome Center: https://www.tnvacation.com/local/ethridge-amish-welcome-center

Wagon tours are 1.5 hours, $10 for adults, and $5 for kids. Or you can do what we did, and just drive to visit all of the Amish homes. They sell all sorts of wonderful products. We purchased honey, cookies, pumpkins, and jam; but they also have many other items for sale.
